报告摘要
In this talk, I will present my research on short-lived hadronic resonances as sensitive probes of the strongly interacting matter created in high-energy collisions. I will begin with an overview of my PhD work with the ALICE experiment at the LHC, where I investigated the event-shape dependence of charged K*(892) meson production in proton–proton collisions. This study offers valuable insights into hadronization dynamics and collective-like effects in small systems. I will then discuss my current postdoctoral research at IJCLab, where I work within the HADES collaboration at GSI, focusing on φ-meson production in proton–proton collisions. I will highlight the analysis strategies, challenges in background subtraction, and the implications for strangeness production and in-medium modifications. The talk will also briefly cover my experience in phenomenological studies using Monte Carlo event generators (e.g., PYTHIA 8, AMPT) and machine learning techniques applied to hadron spectroscopy. I will conclude by outlining potential future directions and opportunities for collaboration.

Suman Deb,法国国家科研中心(CNRS) IJCLab博士后。2022年在印度理工学院印多尔分校获得博士学位,后在印度理工学院印多尔分校做访问学者。拥有超过七年的高能和重离子碰撞经验,参与了ALICE和HADES实验,研究方向为实验性重离子与强子碰撞、共振产生和奇异性增强、探测器模拟和事件生成器和高能物理中的数据科学和机器学习。
